Minor injuries after pedestrian struck by vehicle

A Guelph man sustained minor injuries after he was struck by a vehicle downtown Tuesday afternoon.

Approximately 5:30 p.m., emergency services were called to the intersection of Macdonell Street and Wyndham Street North. Investigation revealed the man was crossing without the right of way when he collided with the side of a passing vehicle, striking his face.

The man was assessed at the scene but did not require medical treatment.
