Guelph Police responded to 653 calls for service over the weekend

The following news release was issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Male arrested after residential break-in
On Jan. 15, 2020 at 10:30 p.m., an apartment located near the intersection of Edinburgh Road North and Willow Road in the City of Guelph was entered by two adult males. Numerous items were taken including two crossbows, two replica handguns, a black security flashlight and a safe.

On Feb. 8 at 1:29 p.m., police located one of the males at a bus stop on Willow Road, and he was arrested.

A 25-year-old Guelph male has been charged with:
    •    Break and enter and commit theft
    •    Breach of undertaking
    •    Breach of probation x3

He will appear in court on Feb. 11.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the other male.
