On February 26, 2017 at 9:04 p.m., the Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop with a motor vehicle on Raspberry Lane.

Traffic stop leads to arrest

On Feb. 26, 2017 at 9:04 p.m., the Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop with a motor vehicle on Raspberry Lane. Investigation discovered that the licence plate was registered to a different vehicle, the validation sticker on the plate had been reported stolen and the vehicle was on the system as status unfit.

Yones Timouri, 31 years old of Guelph has been charged with possession of stolen property and breach of probation. He was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with use plate not authorized for vehicle and operate unsafe vehicle. He will appear in court on Apr. 28, 2017.

Break and enter

On Feb. 25, 2017 at 8:37 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a Teal Drive residence to investigate a break and enter. The home was entered sometime between 3 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The culprit(s) entered by forcing the rear patio sliding door. A theft is reported.

Break and enter

On Feb. 25, 2017 at 6:19 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a Division Street building to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) smashed the glass in a door and entered the building which is used as a workshop. A theft of tools and a youth bike is reported.

Feb. 25, 2017 from 9:38 a.m. to 10:56 a.m. on Gordon Street and Stone Road – 10 speeding tickets issued

Feb. 26, 2017 from 1:53 p.m. to 3:04 p.m. on Stone Road and Monticello Crescent – 5 speeding tickets issued

Feb. 26, 2017 from 2:49 p.m. to 4:35 p.m. on Speedvale Avenue and Knightswood Boulevard– 7 speeding tickets issued
