Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital following collision

A Cambridge man was airlifted to a Hamilton trauma centre following a collision Tuesday night between a motorcycle and SUV.

Emergency services were called approximately 11:10 p.m. to the area of Woodlawn Road West and Silvercreek Parkway North.

The 51-year-old driver of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was transported to Guelph General Hospital before being transferred via air ambulance to a Hamilton hospital.

Roads in the area were closed for more than four hours for the investigation.
