A Guelph man faces charges in connection with a break and enter to a downtown apartment building earlier this month.

On March 9, a male and female forced open the front door of a building on Neeve Street by bending the frame. The two attended the underground parking garage where they stole numerous items, including the charging cables from two electric scooters. The incident was captured on video.

A 47-year-old Guelph male was located downtown Monday morning and is charged with break and enter, possessing break-in instruments and failing to comply with an undertaking.

The investigation is ongoing to identify the involved female.
