(WELLINGTON COUNTY, ON) - The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) participated in the Fall Seat belt Campaign from October 2, 2019 to October 11, 2019. This campaign is an opportunity to raise awareness on the importance of the occupant restraint system when travelling in a moving motor vehicle.
During the campaign, Wellington County OPP officers charged 24 motorists with seatbelt offences.
The Fall Seatbelt Campaign has ended but the importance of wearing a seatbelt when you are in a moving motor vehicle never ends.
