A parking dispute led to an assault charge for a Cambridge male on Tuesday morning in Guelph's north end.

Guelph police report that at approximately 10:30 a.m. a man was entering an apartment building located near Victoria Road North and Brant Avenue when he saw a vehicle parked partially on the grass.

He approached the female driver, who advised she was there on a delivery. The man was upset and allegedly pushed the woman with both hands, causing her to fall back against her vehicle.

A 48-year-old Cambridge man turned himself in Wednesday and was charged with assault. He will appear in a Guelph court June 14.
