Pedestrian suffers minor injuries after being struck by car

An adult male was taken to hospital with minor injuries after being hit by a car in Guelph’s east end Wednesday evening.

At approximately 7:30 p.m. the 31-year-old male was crossing through the intersection of Speedvale Avenue East and Victoria Road North when he was hit by a car driven by an 80-year-old Guelph woman.

The male sustained what appeared to be a minor head injury but was taken to Guelph General Hospital for further assessment.
