Piece of equipment valued at $95K stolen from west end business

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after a piece of equipment valued at $95,000 was stolen from a west end business.

Officers were called Wednesday to a business on Elmira Road North near Speedvale Avenue West. An orange Kubota SVL90 skid steer was stolen during the early-morning hours.

Police also received a report of an orange skid steer causing damage to a railway gate in the area of Edinburgh Road North and Lonsdale Drive approximately 4 a.m. Wednesday. The two incidents are believed to be related.
