Police are investigating after a man stole more than $700 worth of Pokemon cards from a north end business during which there was a struggle with security staff.

Just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday, police were dispatched to a business on Woodlawn Road West. A male had been observed placing sets of the popular trading cards into his backpack. When staff intervened and tried to stop the man from leaving the store he pushed past them. A security guard grabbed the backpack but let go following a brief struggle.

The man was described as having tanned skin and black hair in a bun and wearing a black puffy vest, black t-shirt, black pants and a black backpack.
