Police find $1,400 worth of cocaine in suspect's pocket

Over the past couple of months, the Guelph Police Drug Unit began an investigation into Crystal Hodge, a 37-year-old Guelph female trafficking cocaine. As a result of the investigation, Police conducted surveillance on Hodge. 

On Dec. 18, 2018, Hodge was observed in a commercial parking lot in Waterloo where she engaged in behaviour that was consistent with drug trafficking. Hodge then returned to Guelph in her vehicle. 

Hodge was arrested outside her residence on Christopher Court.  When police searched her, over $1,400 worth of what is believed to be cocaine was found in her front pocket. Also found on her were two cell phones, two digital scales, and $250 cash.

She is scheduled to appear in court on January 29, 2019.
