Police investigation leads to search warrants, arrests

Four people, two from Kitchener and two from Guelph, face drug, stolen property and weapons charges

Police recovered $40,000 worth of stolen property, as well as cash and drugs while executing seven search warrants on Wednesday, states a Guelph police news release. 

Four people face a variety of charges.

The raids relate to an investigation which began back in May, involving residents of Guelph and Waterloo Region. In addition to the recovered stolen property, police seized an estimated $15,000 in cash and $25,000 worth of methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl.

Charges laid include drug trafficking, possession of stolen property and firearm-related offences. The accused are a 47-year-old man and a 30-year old woman from Kitchener, as well as a 27-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman from Guelph.
