Police look for other theft victims as two charged with break and enter

On Jan. 24, 2019 at approximately 3:10 a.m., Guelph police were alerted to two males acting suspiciously in the area of Hill Trail and Grange Road. Initial reports received indicated that the males were going through vehicles and checking mail boxes. Upon arrival, police were able to confirm one residential garage had been entered.

As a result of the investigation, a 23-year-old male and an 18-year-old male, both from Guelph, were arrested for break, enter and commit, trespass by night, possession of property obtained by crime and various breaches of court orders. Both were held pending a bail hearing.

Guelph police feel there may be more victims. If you live in the area of Hill Trail and Grange Road, please check your garage and/or any vehicles in your driveway.
