On October 15, 2016, the Guelph Police went to the Emma Street area to investigate the report of a suspicious male and vehicle.

It is alleged that on Oct. 14 at 11:50 p.m., a 20-year-old female was at her car when a male in a vehicle approached. The male stopped close enough to her that he obstructed her movements.

He then opened his passenger door and told her to get in to his car. She was able to push the door shut and run to the house. The vehicle then left the area.

The driver is described, as black, 35-45 years, appeared to be average height and build with closely shaved hair. He was wearing dark clothing.

The vehicle is described as a car that was very clean and in good condition. No further vehicle details are available.
