Police looking for man who approached young child

On Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, at approximately 3:30 p.m., an unknown male driving a red van, pulled into the driveway of a residence in the area of King Street and Derry Street in the City of Guelph. The male exited the vehicle and approached a young child who was playing alone in the side yard. The male asked the child to come with him and left the area quickly when the child declined.

The male is described as:  white, middle aged, wearing a white t-shirt, and blue jeans.

The involved vehicle is a red van, possibly with a flat tire on the driver's side.

Guelph Police would like to speak to the driver of this van.
