Police are looking to identify a man observed trying to open vehicles in a store parking lot Thursday.
Approximately 11:20 a.m. a woman called police to report she saw a man trying to open the hatchback of her SUV in a parking lot on Elmira Road South near Paisley Road. When she confronted the male he apologized and walked away, but the caller saw him using a key fob to try to open other vehicles. He eventually got into the passenger side of a white Ford SUV and left the area.
The man was identified as white, in his 60s and wearing a red gold shirt, black pants, black shoes and a black fedora-style hat.
