Police looking to speak to driver of SUV that struck teen

Police say the driver did stop and talk to the 14-year-old female, who was not injured

Guelph police are looking to speak with the driver of an SUV and any witnesses after a teenage female was struck by a vehicle Friday morning.

Just before 8:30 a.m. a white SUV turning was turning from Waterloo Avenue onto Edinburgh Road South when it struck a 14-year-old girl as she was crossing the roadway. She was not injured.

It has been reported to police that the driver of the SUV, and at least one witness, spoke with the teenager after the collision. Police are looking to speak with the driver of the SUV, as well as any witnesses to this collision.
