Police seek public's assistance following report of masturbating cyclist

Guelph police are asking residents of a south end neighbourhood to check their surveillance camera footage after a male allegedly exposed himself to a female Tuesday night.

Police report that at approximately 10:45 p.m. an adult female was walking alone on Kortright Road, west of Edinburgh Road South. A male riding a bicycle on the sidewalk approached her from behind. As he rode by, he made a comment to her at which time she observed that he was masturbating. He was last seen westbound on Kortright Road West toward Scottsdale Drive.

He is described as Caucasian, medium build, 30 to 40 years old, wearing all black with a black ball cap. His bicycle is described as a mountain bike style, black in colour.

Police are asking for anyone that lives in the Kortright/Scottsdale area that has external cameras to please check your footage between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.
