Police seek witnesses to incident where knives were pulled

Altercation happened downtown early Sunday morning and led to two men being taken to hospital for medical attention

Guelph police are looking for witnesses as they continue to investigate a downtown disturbance on the weekend which left two males injured.

At approximately 2:40 a.m. Sunday there was an altercation at a downtown business involving two males. This altercation continued in the area of Macdonell and Wyndham streets where a knife was brandished. Both males sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to hospital for medical attention.

The disturbance remains under investigation.
