On May 3, 2019 at approximately 5:10 p.m., Guelph police were called to Carden Street, where there was a report of a male waving a knife.
Police were able to attend quickly and it is alleged the male was seen sitting on a bench waving a knife around. This male was arrested without incident.
As a result of this investigation, a 48-year-old male was arrested and charged with weapons dangerous and two counts of breaching an Order of Recognizance. He was held for a bail hearing.
