Police officers were on their way to a south end home Wednesday afternoon to let residents know an arrested male was released on bail and ordered to stay away.
As they arrived, officers saw the male approaching the home’s front door and arrested him again, a news release states.
The male had been released on bail only “a couple of hours” earlier, the release notes. Among the bail conditions was not to be within 100 metres of the residents where he was found.
A 41-year-old Guelph male is charged with failing to comply with a bail order and breach of probation, in addition to his initial charges of breaching court orders and possession of a controlled substance.
