Traffic may be delayed for approximately one hour with emergency responders active on scene. Slow and move over for emergency responders. 

7:16 a.m. update

OPP confirm that no one is injured.

The crash occurred today (Monday, Jan. 8, 2018) at approximately 6:45 a.m.

OPP as well as Guelph/Eramosa Fire Department and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics Service are currently at scene.

Traffic may be delayed to remove vehicles and weather is considered to be a factor.

Wellington County OPP reminds drivers to adjust for weather conditions.

Original release

Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently responding to a motor vehicle collision on Wellington Road 124 by Jones Baseline, near Guelph Lake. Initial reports indicated that a school bus has collided head-on with a car. The school bus had no passengers on it and emergency responders are currently responding. The status of injuries is unknown at this time. The crash occurred today (Monday, Jan. 8, 2018) at approximately 6:45 a.m.

OPP as well as Guelph/Eramosa Fire Department and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics Service are currently at scene.

Traffic may be delayed and investigation is ongoing.
