TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA - On July 22, 2017 approximately 3:25 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department responded to a two vehicle collision on County 32, south of Speedvale, Township of Guelph-Eramosa.
Initial investigation indicates that a southbound grey Hyundai sedan crossed over into the northbound lanes and hit head on with a black Chevrolet pickup truck.
The driver of the Hyundai was transported by land ambulance to a local hospital with serious injuries. The passenger of the Hyundai and the driver of the pickup truck were also transported by land ambulance but with minor injuries.
The cause of the collision is currently being investigated by Wellington County OPP. County 32 is closed between Speedvale and County 31 but will reopen shortly.
