Impaired driver

On April 27, 2019 at approximately 7 p.m., Guelph Police attended to the area of Starwood Drive for a report that a motor vehicle struck a parked car. The driver of the responsible vehicle was arrested for impaired driving. There were no injuries reported.

A 39-year-old Guelph female was charged with Impaired Operation of a Conveyance and Operate Conveyance at 80mgs or Above-Alcohol. She will appear in court May 10, 2019.

Traffic enforcement – stunt driver

On April 27, 2019 Guelph Police were conducting traffic enforcement on Wellington St W, Guelph. The 54-year-old female driver was allegedly driving 56 km/h over the posted speed limit. Police conducted a traffic stop and learned that the driver was suspended.

The driver was charged with drive while under suspension, speeding and stunt driving.

Break and enter

On April 27, 2019, the Guelph Police attended to a Watson Rd N address for a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered a construction trailer and storage bin and stole approximately $13,000 worth of tools and machinery. The entry is believed to have occurred on Friday April 26, 2019 sometime after 3:30 p.m.
