The following news release was issued today by the Guelph Police Service:
Collision – Impaired driving arrest
On Feb. 1, 2020 at approximately 9:40 p.m., Guelph Police attended to the area of Norfolk Street for the report of a collision involving two vehicles. There were no injuries reported. Police spoke with one of the drivers and a roadside screening test was administered to the driver in which they failed.
As a result of the investigation, the 25-year-old Burlington female was charged with operation while impaired – B.A.C. 80 plus. The female was also issued a 90-day drivers licence suspension and a seven-day motor vehicle impoundment.
The 25-year-old female was later released with a court date of Feb. 18, 2020.
