Suspicious activity in parking lot leads to three arrests

On Oct. 13, 2019 at approximately 7:15 p.m. Guelph police were called to a north end department store, where there was a report of suspicious activity in the parking lot. Three individuals were reportedly in and out of a vehicle, which had several items in it. Police confirmed the vehicle to be stolen.

Police attended to the location and were able to apprehend the three individuals. As a result of the investigation, two males and a female, all from Guelph, were arrested. The two males were found to have drugs and identity documents on their person.

The following are the charges that were laid between the three individuals:

  • Occupant of a stolen vehicle
  • Possession of stolen property over $5000
  • Possession of an identity document
  • Two counts of possession of a controlled substance
  • Two counts of breaching a probation order
  • Failing to comply with an undertaking
