Theft of five cargo trailers caught on camera

Guelph police is investigating after five cargo trailers were stolen from an east-end business.

Monday afternoon, police were called to a business in the area of Elizabeth Street and Victoria Road South, where staff reported five trailers were stolen between Thursday Oct. 21 and Sunday Oct. 24. Video surveillance shows the same suspect vehicle returning to the business five times, each time hauling away another trailer. On one occasion they returned to the business within 35 minutes of leaving with a trailer.

The involved vehicle is described as a white 2014-2018 Dodge Ram Sport quad-cab pickup with black wheels and black door handles.
