Theft suspect threatens store employee: Police

Early on the morning of Nov. 4, 2019, an employee observed an adult male [allegedly] stealing items from a store located in the area of Silvercreek Parkway North and Willow Road in the City Of Guelph. The employee attempted to stop him but was threatened by the male who then left the store on foot.

Police attended the scene, but were unable to locate him.

The male is described as Caucasian, 5’10, 30 years old, short black hair, wearing a bright orange construction vest and possibly carrying both a big white plastic bag and a knife.
