Police are investigating the theft of thousands of dollars in sports equipment from a residential garage just south of Stone Road.
Police were called Tuesday evening to a residence in the area of Gordon Street and Hands Drive. The homeowner advised he discovered his garage door open Tuesday morning. Baseball equipment, golf clubs and a bicycle with a total value of approximately $4,000 was missing.
