Thousands of dollars in tools taken from south end construction site

Guelph police are investigating after thousands of dollars in tools were reported stolen from a south end construction site this week.

Thursday afternoon, police were called to a site near Victoria Road South and MacAlister Boulevard. A worker advised four construction trailers had been pried open and a large quantity of tools were stolen late Wednesday or early Thursday. The victim estimated the value of the tools at more than $7,000.
