Three face theft, trespassing charges following December vehicle break-ins

One from Cambridge was also caught with methamphetamine, police say

At approximately 4:45 a.m. Dec. 22, 2019, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to three people entering vehicles on Hartfield Drive north of Guelph. Police apprehended the three suspects and recovered a variety of stolen property from the Guelph/Eramosa and Centre Wellington area. Recovered items include tools, electronics and personal effects.

As a result, Cailtyn Pratt, 25-years-old of Guelph, and Chantel Horeck-Purcell, 18-years-old of Guelph, have been charged with multiple counts of theft, possession of stolen property and trespass at night and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on Jan. 21, 2020.

Benn Douglas Witteveen, 25-years-old of Cambridge was charged with multiple counts of theft, possession of stolen property, trespass at night and possession of methamphetamine and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of justice - Guelph on Jan. 24, 2020.

OPP are asking that if you've been a victim of a similar incident to call 1-888-310-1122 as a number of items recovered have not been returned to the rightful owner.
