The following news release was issued today by the Guelph Police Service:
Arrested on warrant
On Feb. 12, 2020, Police made contact with a wanted party at an address on Watt Street in the city of Guelph. The accused was currently wanted on a first instance warrant held by the Guelph Police Service for Breach of Release order from Jan. 29, 2020. At 3:54 p.m., the 18-year-old Guelph male was arrested on the strength of the outstanding warrant and further held for a bail hearing.
On Feb. 12, 2020, a 32-year-old Guelph female was arrested on the strength of several outstanding warrants with regard to the following charges; theft under x4, fail to attend, escape lawful custody x2 and breach probation x4. She was further held for a bail hearing.
