Traffic stop leads to charges for suspended driver

At approximately 3:20 p.m., a GPS patrol officer observed a black Altima that appeared to be purposefully avoiding his marked cruiser in the area of Hearn Avenue and Inkerman Street. When emergency lights were activated, the vehicle stopped and both driver and the passenger quickly exited the car. Investigation revealed that the driver was prohibited from driving as a result of a criminal code conviction and was arrested.

Krystl Kunstleben, a 33-year-old Guelph woman was charged with drive while disqualified, breach of probation and drive under suspension. She was released to appear in court on Nov. 28, 2017.
