Guelph police are investigating after a trailer containing electronics was stolen from a south end business.

The truck used to tow the trailer was later recovered in another jurisdiction.

On Monday morning a Guelph man reported he had parked his Volvo truck Saturday in a lot near Southgate Drive and Clair Road West. When he arrived back Monday morning the truck was gone.

A short time later, another man called police to report his 2014 Stoughton trailer was also missing from the same lot. The trailer contained approximately $50,000 worth of electronics.

The missing truck was later tracked to an address in Mississauga, however the trailer and contents remain outstanding.
