On Aug. 22, 2016 at 8:34 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Regal Road business for the report of a theft. Sometime between Aug. 19 after 6 p.m. and before 5 a.m. on Aug. 21 a company truck and trailer were stolen

Truck and trailer stolen

On Aug. 22, 2016 at 8:34 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Regal Road business for the report of a theft. Sometime between Aug. 19 after 6 p.m. and before 5 a.m. on Aug. 21 a company truck and trailer were stolen from the gated yard. The culprit(s) broke the lock on the gate to gain entry. The truck is a white 2006 GMC Sierra with company logos displayed in white and red lettering. The plate number is 2673ZZ. There was a black 2008 JDJHD dump trailer attached, plate number E80235.

Truck stolen

On August 22, 2016 at 5:31 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Roehampton Crescent residence for the report of a theft. Sometime overnight a red 1991 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen. The plate number is AH33363.

Break and enter

On August 22, 2016, the Guelph Police went to a Kirkby Court location to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered a storage unit and stole a hockey bag with equipment and an electric guitar in a hardcover case.

Theft from cars

On August 22, 2016 the Guelph Police received two reports from Guelph residents about thefts from their cars. The locations were Yarmouth Street and Kenwood Crescent.

This crime is easily avoided by locking your cars, keeping valuables out of sight or removed from your vehicle and parked in a well-lit and visible area where possible.
