Guelph Police were involved in 207 incidents over the past 24 hours

The following news release were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Break and enter
On Jan. 21, 2019, the Guelph Police investigated a break and enter at a Tobey Avenue residence. Investigation determined that the side door had been forced open sometime during the daytime. A theft of jewelry, cash and electronics is reported.

Theft from cars
On Jan. 22, 2019 the Guelph Police received three reports of theft from cars. The locations were Applewood Crescent, Clairfields Drive East, and Woolwich Street.

This crime is easily avoidable. Please lock your cars and do not leave and belongings visible. If you do become a victim of this crime you can report it through the Guelph Police online reporting portal.

On Jan. 21, 2019, Guelph Police investigated 10 collisions. Remember to drive according to the weather and road conditions. Slow down!
