Buyer beware, male arrested on warrant

The following are news releases issued by the Guelph Police Service:

On Oct. 7, 2017 at approximately 8:30 p.m., Guelph police officers were on patrol in the area of Wellington / Neeve and observed a male known to be wanted riding on a bicycle. Police attempted to stop the person and he fled from them. After a short pursuit, police were able to catch up and arrest the male.

James Ryan, a 23-year-old Guelph male, was arrested for several outstanding charges. He was allegedly found to have drugs on his person and was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking and fail to attend court. He was held for a bail hearing that occurred on Oct. 10, 2017.
