The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:
Arrest
On Oct. 13, 2019, a 22 year old Kitchener female was observed on video causing damage to her partner’s vehicle in a residential complex located on Westwood Road. She was subsequently arrested on October 14th, 2019, at approximately 9:50 p.m. for Mischief Under $5,000. She was further released on a Promise to Appear and is to appear in court on Nov. 26, 2019.
Assault
On Oct. 14, 2019, a 36 year old Guelph male engaged in a physical altercation with his 34 year old female spouse over what started as a verbal altercation over finances. The female suffered minor injuries as result of the incident. The accused male was further arrested for one count of Assault and transported to the Guelph Police Service where he was held for a bail hearing.
