Guelph police are investigating after two cars were reported stolen in separate incidents Monday.

Just after 7 a.m., a male called to report his grey 2017 Cadillac CT6 had been stolen from his driveway in the area of Speedvale Avenue West and Woolwich Street.

Approximately three hours later, a resident of Water Street reported her turquoise 2013 Honda Fit had been stolen from an underground parking area. The owner had misplaced her keys the night before. Officers spotted the Honda approximately 10:45 p.m. and observed it running a red light at Delhi Street and Eramosa Road. It was not pursued in the interests of public safety.

Anyone with information about either vehicle is asked to call the Guelph Police Service at 519-824-1212, ext. 0. Those wishing to remain anonymous can leave a message for Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.csgw.tips.
