Two men sustained head injuries after a disturbance Sunday morning at a Halloween party, say Guelph police.

Just before 1 a.m. emergency services were called to an address in the area of Edinburgh Road South and Ironwood Road. Investigation revealed a verbal dispute between two groups of people turned physical and two men were struck in the head with a weapon believed to be a collapsible baton.

Both victims were transported to Guelph General Hospital for treatment. The suspect was described as a white, approximately 19, 5’11” to 6 feet with a slim build, brown hair and facial scruff. He was wearing a yellow construction vest and red and white baseball cap. He was accompanied by two males in vintage-style pinstriped suits.
