Thefts from vehicles continue to have consequences for the victim of these crimes. On Aug. 14, there were two separate incidents on Oriole Crescent and Eramosa Road where vehicles were entered resulting in the theft of banks cards, cheques, a passport and other personal identification.

In most instances, this crime is easily avoided by locking your cars, keeping valuables out of sight or removed from your vehicle and parked in a well-lit and visible area where possible.
