A car went through the window of the Mission Thrift Store in the York/Victoria plaza Wednesday.

No injuries were reported Wednesday after an east-end business was struck by a vehicle for the second time in just over a year.

Police say that just after 9 a.m. police were called to the Mission Thrift Store in the Victoria Road South plaza near York Road. The driver of a Toyota RAV4 was attempting to park when he lost control and collided with the building, which sustained significant damage.

In a similar incident Jan. 17, 2023, another driver lost control of his Honda Civic and smashed through the front window of the same store. No injuries were reported in that incident either.
