Wanted driver arrested
Yesterday it was reported that a wanted male fled in his car from police in the area of Gladstone Street and Speedvale Avenue when they attempted to arrest him for outstanding Waterloo Regional Police charges.
Just after 10 a.m. on Aug. 24, officers once again located him near his grey Honda Civic in the area of Victoria Road and Lawrence Avenue. The male attempted to flee on foot and was quickly taken into custody.
The 44-year-old Guelph man is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, and breach of probation. He was held in custody to await a bail hearing on his Guelph charges.
