Police were involved in 188 incidents over the past 24 hours

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Break and enter
On Feb. 6 2019, the Guelph Police investigated a break and enter at a Cardigan Street underground parking lot. The investigation determined that the break in occurred sometime during the evening into the early morning. A theft of a laptop from a car is reported.

Workplace accident
On Feb. 6 2019, the Guelph Police investigated a workplace accident at a business on Watson Road South. A male was transported to the hospital with injuries to his hand. The injuries are significant, however not life-threatening. The accident does not appear to be suspicious and there is no further police action required, however the Ministry of Labour was contacted to conduct their own investigation.
