Guelph Police Service dealt with 248 calls for service

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Three arrested on warrants
A 25-year-old Guelph man arrested on two warrants for a total of three counts of breach probation. He will appear in court on July 2, 2019.

A 20-year-old Guelph man arrested on a warrant for assault. He will appear in court on July 2, 2019.

A 45-year-old Guelph man arrested on a warrant for fail to re-attend court and possess over 30 grams of cannabis. He will appear in court on June 24, 2019.

Break and enter
On May 14, 2019, the Guelph Police went to an Eramosa Road apartment building for the report of a break and enter. The mailboxes located in the front had been pried open but an apparent attempt to access the building failed.

Theft from cars
On May 14, 2019, the Guelph Police received four reports of theft from cars. The locations were London Road, College Avenue West, Elizabeth Street and Phillip Avenue.

This crime is easily avoidable. Please lock your cars and do not leave belongings visible. If you do become a victim of this crime you can report it through the Guelph Police online reporting portal.
