Guelph Police responded to 199 calls for service

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Numerous items taken during residential break-in
Some time over the last two weeks, a residence located near the intersection of Eramosa Road and Speedvale Avenue East in the City of Guelph was entered. The residence was rummaged through and numerous items were taken including two televisions and cell phones.

Red Trek – Ds 2 L Viper bicycle stolen
Some time over the past few days, a red Trek – Ds 2 L Viper bicycle was taken from the backyard of a residence located near the intersection of Stone Road West and Edinburgh Road South in the City of Guelph. The bicycle has an oversized seat, a blue water bottle holder on the frame and a black crate attached to a black rack behind the seat.

The Guelph Police Service would like to remind the public to lock up your bicycles and bring them inside whenever possible.

Multiple vehicles entered
Some time over night on Nov. 25, 2019, a vehicle parked outside a residence located near the intersection of Waterloo Avenue and Gordon Street in the City of Guelph was entered. The insurance and registration documents were taken.

Some time during the day on Nov. 26, 2019, a vehicle parked at a work site located in the downtown core of the City of Guelph was entered. The vehicle’s key was taken.
