LCBO theft suspect arrested

The following news release was issued by the Guelph Police Service.

On Oct. 30, a male entered an area LCBO store and selected number of items and left the store without paying only to return later in the day and take a number of items and leave again without paying. Police were later able to identify the male from security video.

On the evening of Nov. 7, police were called to an address on Waterloo Avenue to remove an unwanted male that turned out to be the (suspected) liquor thief. The 35-year-old Guelph man was charged with two counts of theft and two counts of breach of probation. He was held in custody and will appear in bail court today.
