Witnesses sought after vehicle fails to stop after hitting pedestrian

Pedestrian was taken to hospital with minor injuries

Guelph police are seeking witnesses after a 62-year-old female was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street Sunday afternoon. The vehicle did not stop.

Shortly before 6 p.m. the female was in the crosswalk at Kortright Road West and Ironwood Road when she was struck. The responsible vehicle was described as a small black car.

The victim was transported to hospital by a relative for treatment of minor head and chest injuries.
