Woman arrested after damaging vehicles with shovel

Guelph woman, 35, charged with two counts of mischief

A woman allegedly used a shovel to damage two vehicles along Essex Street on Saturday morning, breaking a rear window of one and damaging a bumper on the other.

The incident was reported to police at about 11:20 a.m.

Police found the suspect on Waterloo Avenue. Following a brief foot chase, she was arrested in the area of Bristol and Raymond streets.

A 35-year-old Guelph woman is charged with two counts of mischief under $5,000.
