Woman charged in connection with locker break-ins

A Guelph female faces several break and enter charges after storage lockers in an apartment building were entered.

Guelph police were called Dec. 20 to an apartment building on Bagot Street near Willow Road. A female and two males were caught on video using a prybar to gain access to the storage room and then break the locks off eight storage lockers. Various personal items including jewelry, luggage ands antiques were reported stolen.

Police recognized the female from the video. She was located about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on Silvercreek Parkway North and arrested. She was also wanted for shoplifting from two local stores in December and January. In both incidents she was captured on surveillance video.

A 25-year-old Guelph female is charged with nine counts of break and enter with intent and two counts of theft under $5,000. She will appear in a Guelph court July 27.
